Tibetan astrology
Nine mewas and eight parkhas: the Tibetan coordinate system of year and direction.

Kartsi is a Tibetan tradition that describes a birth date through mewa (numbers 1–9) and parkha (eight directional symbols).
Birth mewa shows the base quality, year mewa sets the tone of the period, and descending mewa describes what grows with age.
Year parkha and descending parkha add direction and element. Birth parkha needs the mother's age, so we do not calculate it without that data.
This is symbolic language, not medical diagnostics or an event forecast.
How the calculation works
The date is converted to the Tibetan year, then birth mewa, year mewa and descending mewa are calculated.
Year parkha depends on gender; descending parkha on the year and direction. Birth parkha requires the mother's age.
What the chart shows
Mewa describes how you act and a typical risk; parkha shows direction and the environment for recovery.
Together they give a compact picture to test against experience.

Do I need an exact birth time?
No. Mewa and parkha need only the date and gender.
Why is birth parkha missing?
It requires the mother's age at birth. Without that data we do not substitute a random value.
