Ascendant

Enter your birth date, exact time and city of birth. We convert local time to UTC using the historical time zone and calculate the ascendant offline. The data is not stored.

Date of birth

For example, 1990-05-14. The date is not stored or shared.

Time of birth

As exact as possible, to the minute. A shift of four minutes moves the ascendant by about one degree.

City of birth

The list is limited to Russian cities. Coordinates and the time zone are preset, no geocoding is used.

How the ascendant is calculated

We convert the local birth time to UTC using the city time zone (including historical clock changes), then calculate the rising point of the ecliptic from offline ephemerides. The result is deterministic and independent of AI.

If the birth time is only approximate, treat the result as a rough guide rather than an exact value.
